The Show Stoppers had their first game last night and it was adorable! I think it was the most fun I've ever had! The girls were precious and hiliarious all at the same time! We played the Bryant Intimidators (who had real uniforms and a gruff coach)...they were good! But, I think we had more fun! Everyone hit the ball (maybe off the tee) but it counted! Several just stood there after hitting not knowing what to do next. We had some running the wrong way and carrying their bat with them to 1st base. Several times the girls just watched the ball go by them and when they realized what to do, they all ran for it. In the middle of the game, Presley ran to the fence and yelled "This is a really fun game!" She had a smile on her face everytime they ran to the dugout. When out in the field, she kept looking over and giving us a thumbs-up. We had a huge crowd come to watch! It was all very exciting and I can't wait until Thursdays game! The funny thing is, the girls don't have a clue that we lost the game! In the group shot, we are missing 2 girls. We have 4 Presley's on our team! Crazy! I guess I didn't choose a unique name like I thought?

She's Got the Look...
She might look like a softball player in her cute practice uniform and matching accessories, but she doen't have the game! Here are picture from our 4th practice...Hanging in the dugout before practice with her best pal Emma, pouting on the sideline because she got tagged out, playing in the dirt instead of catching the ball, and having a talk with daddy about how she's the only one on the team not listening or following directions. After this talk, daddy sent her back to the dugout for not cooperating....IT'S GOING TO BE A LONG SEASON! We are really concerned about what's going to happen when she walks off the field in the midde of the game? Here are a few quotes from last practice: "It's boring out there." "My shoes keep getting dirty!" "I don't want to be a softball player anymore." Only 9 weeks to go! I've been googling softball cheers to maybe make it more inticing! Scott and the other guys are doing a fabulous job coaching!
GO SHOW STOPPERS!
Accessorized
ears in the holes of the Crocs. He is obsessed with him right now. He calls him Hot Dog because of the theme song to the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse...Hot Dog, Hot Dog, Hot diggity dog! He sings and dances all over the house to this and does a funny thing with his arms. We've also got this song in the car thanks to Aunt Katie!

Burritos for Breakfast
My kids seem to have a thing about not really wanting something sweet for breakfast. Usually once a week, Chase will choose burritos...and I don't mean breakfast burritos. He loves bean burritos! This is a staple in our house. It really grosses me out!
On another note...here are a few other things that the kids have said lately:
1. P-"So, how are things going?" me - "What things?" P- "with you..."
2. Scott was watching T.V. and told me "That guy is G.A.Y." Presley-"What does G.A.Y. spell?"
3. Our favorite new phrase Chase says is "Hi Buddy."
4. During the storms the other night, Presley was asking about the balls of ice on the sidewalk and Scott told her it was hail. This became Chase's favorite word of the night and he walked around saying "hail, hail, hail" all night. It was pretty funny!

Bunkin Party!!!
Mimi had the "big cousins" over for a bunkin party lastnight. The kids loved it! Presely asked all day when it would be time to go. When we got to her house, Presley ran in with her suitcase and told me that I didn't need to talk to Mimi about anything...she just wanted me to go! There are several funny stories from the night. The girls had their usual tiffs while fighting over the covers and Jackson prayed for Presley because she was scared. When it was time for pickup, we all played kickball together and Jackson wrote these signs for the boys.
