What a Great Weekend!

It has been a fantastic Easter weekend! The kids have dyed eggs until their fingers are literally blue! We've hunted eggs more times than the law allows! (with Grammy & Pa it was 293 to be exact!) We have eaten until we can eat no more! What are we going to do with all the candy?! We are truly blessed! On Saturday, we spent the day at Katie and Casey's new house to be. It is a perfect place for a picnic and wiffle ball game, so that's exactly what we did! We played guys against girls (I will add that I hit 2 homeruns! - and I'm sore today!) We went to an awesome service at church today, lunch with my family and dinner with Mimi and Papa Terry. The kids are spoiled rotten! It looks like Christmas around here instead of Easter! ha! We've got a good cleanup to do here tomorrow and I'm pretty sure a diet needs to start too (with no more chocolate!)

Here Comes Peter Cotton Tail

Yesterday, Presley had her preschool egg hunt. They made the cutest bunny hats! She got lots of candy filled eggs (of which I have been sharing) ha!

Eggstravaganza!

The kids have been asking for days to dye eggs, so I finally gave in. We did it on Monday and have hunted eggs for two days. They are now ready for the trash! It's hard for Chase to understand how gentle you have to be with them! So, we are going to dye more eggs tomorrow at Nana's to have something to hunt on Easter!

Travelers Games

Tonight was the worst night to go to the Travelers game! The wind was crazy! Pa's company had family night, so we all got to go together! Here are a few pics from the night. Chase is having his first experence with cotton candy - he wasn't a fan. The kids all got to see Shelly the mascot and were on the jumbotron with the Chick-fil-a cow! Super exciting!

Field Trip to Little Ceasars

This was such a fun field trip! Presley's class split in to two groups and got to learn how pizza is made. They got to make a pepperoni and a cheese pizza and breadsticks. The kids were amazed! They had the best teacher too - he was fantastic with the kids (He was a retired teacher!) They got to take their pizzas and breadsticks back to school for their snack. Presley now wants to work at Little Ceasars when she gets older. We will see what she says when she's 16! Ha!

Perfect Day for Lemonade

Saturday was the perfect day for a lemonade stand. Our neighborhood was having their annual Neighborhood Yard Sale, so there was a ot of traffic coming through! We sat our for 2 hours and Presley made $23.50 which she immediately wanted to spend at Target! She bought a Sqinkie House and pets to go with it! She was excited! Chase was her side-kick as he took a rest and ate come lunch on the manhole.

Cowboy Up

We went to a super fun birthday party at a horse ranch! The party was in the barn, the kids got to take turns riding 4 horses, took a hay ride (where the horse all walked up and ate the hay you were sitting on), and throw rocks in the river. Their horses names were Possom and Tommy. The kids had a great time! Happy Birthday Finley!

My Pal

Here is Chase and his best pal Buzz Buzz! Chase is such a sweetheart and a stinker all at the same time! Some of my favorite things he said lately are: "I love you my whole body my whole life." "My beautiful momma." "I smoked it!" "I pee pee like a big boy like Tiger and Bubba." (his two favorite golfers) "I told you." "Moooommaaaa..." (as he closes his eyes and shakes his head in disbelief)

Stood Up

Well...we are anxiously awaiting our first game...we got rained out on Monday and stood up tonight!...but we sure looked cute!...and got a much needed practice in!

Show Stoppers Softball Starts

The Show Stoppers have started their softball season once again! We lost a few girls from last year and gained a few to replace them. It's going to be a fun season! We stayed with our same colors, just did the opposite. The girls love the pink with their star socks!
