He's a walkin...

Yes indead! Chase started walking this weekend! He's a little wobbly, but seems to be getting where he wants to go. As you can see, the pics are blurry. I'll try to get better ones soon!

Vacation Bible School

This past week was VBS and WOW what a week it was! I signed up to be a guide this year thinking it would be an easy job and I would have to prepare anything early...well was I wrong! The guides had to be at church at 8:15 everyday to gather their group at the parents dropped them off. I was very proud of myself for having both kids up, ready and being pretty much on time! Presley had a great week, but Chase was named the special child by all the people in charge. He through such a fit that everyday he got to walk around with the helpers and deliver snacks. He had his own room with toys and had 4 babysitters that took care of him thoughout the week! Can you say "MOMMA'S BOY!" I think we are in trouble! Here is a picture of Pres and I in our twinkie shirts. She thought that was so cool!

Just call us White Trash

Presley asked to play in the pool in the back yard and of course wanted someone to play with her. So, like the good dad he is, Scott volunteered to go. Then Chase felt left out and was beating on the door, and eventually we all ended up outside, in the plastic swimming pool, with our suits on our very white bodies....did I mention that we don't have a fence? A few times I wondered what the passerbyers thought, but then I really didn't care! It was 100 degrees outside and we were having good family fun!

Swimming Lessons

Presley took swimming lessons this week with Mrs. Kelli and Miss. Molly. She did a great job kicking and making her big arms! Although she doesn't really like putting her face in the water, she did jump off the diving board twice...with a little help! I'm so proud of her and know exactly what I need to be working on this summer to help make her a great swimmer!

Pizza Pizza

The Big 30!

Happy Birthday to me! Scott took me and some of our friends out for a great night of fun at Fisherman's Wharf for my 30th birthday! We had a lot of fun! We missed Lindsay, Robert, Rachel and Jordan! I am so blessed to be surrounded by such a great group of friends!...some I've known my whole life! I pray that Presley and Chase have the same great friends some day! 30 isn't as old as it seemed it would feel just a few years ago!

Chase's Birthday Bash

We celebrated Chase's 1st birthday party last night! The plan was a back yard pool party and the party actually did go on after a huge storm came through and the electricity was out. A little more stress added to the day, but I guess that's just how days like that go. All in all... IT WAS GREAT! It so hard to believe it's already been a year since we had our sweet baby Chase, and our lives would not be the same without him! He is such a fun little guy with a huge personality! HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHASE-MAN!

My Little Fish

Mimi took us to the lake this past weekend! The water was freezing, but the kids didn't seem to mind! Presley was very brave and rode the seadoo and the tube! Chase loved his boat!
