Bogeys, Birdies, & a Hold-in-One!

Yesterday was Chase's birthday and he asked for "something golf" so his daddy bought him some real clubs! He LOVED them! Presley got some too because she said that she "needed to learn how to play too and Chase's plastic clubs were too little". We all loaded up and headed to the driving range and practice holes at Longhills. They loved showing their skills! ha! Chase actually made a hole-in-one his very first putt. Wow! ... but then threw a fit everytime after that when the ball didn't go in the first try. We tried to explain that Tiger doesn't always make it the first time either, but that did't seem to help. Scott took both of the kids to play nine holes yesterday and said they had a great time! He is such a great dad! He packed an ice chest and snacks, sunscreen, hats, bought Frogg Toggs to keep the kids cool, etc... Presley chose to only putt most of the time and enjoyed her time in the cart. Chase couldn't hardly stay in the cart he was so excited to get to the next hole! Everytime he made it in the hole he'd do a fist pump and say "Yeah, baby!" Chase hit his driver 40 yards for "Mr. Bud" (the owner). He seemed impressed, asked his age, but didn't offer any free lessons for our little prodigy. Ha!
